1st!

It's basically 2am right now, so bear with me as I write the shit out of this lorem ipsum ass blog post.

I always thought about how interesting it'd be to write a blog, even if I had essentially nothing to write about. I journal in my free time, so quite frankly: this won't even function as that.

Regardless, I'm a big believer in the importance of doing things that bring you joy and figuring out the reason afterward.

Kind of like this website in general: it just seemed like it'd be fun to make one and I found the cheapest possible hosting service to make a vanity site for myself to metaphorically jork my penits online over.

Want the truth? It was inspired by a Cyberpunk RED character I'd ideated with friends while showing them how to create characters for an upcoming one-shot(?) we're doing.

The character's name is PEST and he's a Media who's focus is hit pieces on Corporations, but with a hobby of documenting every Night City legend as an effort to create folk heroes for people to rally behind, with the long-term goal of undermining Corpo media. The idea is that if you turn enough people against the public misconception of Edgerunners as soulless mercenaries/adrenaline junkies, you can start the unenlightened masses down the path of beginning to see all the bullshit they've been fed. They'll then begin to take the pieces rallying against Corps more seriously, and hopefully do something about it.

A Rockerboy teammate could use that public sentiment QUITE effectively, haha!

So yeah, the post description said it all: if you're reading this, I ponied up the scratch to host me a website for the next few years as a creative outlet!
